Volvo recalls 10,000 cars over airbag fault

Volvo is recalling about 10,000 cars in the United States because of the possibility of air bag did not deploy properly. The recall includes the S80 and XC60 XC70 9746 V70s 2010-11 and 2011 and 2010.

Volvo said that the problem of air bags, an intermittent problem airbag connector wiring Driver spring for the clock of supplementary restraint system.

Volvo said it had received 142 complaints about the condition of the world, calling it “potentially critical”. Volvo dealers will install a wedge of metal in the driver’s airbag to solve the problem.
