There are reports from Germany suggest that Porsche is working on sixth model – a smaller sedan, is in the slot below the Cayenne and the fight against the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class.
It is all part of Volkswagen have push-to-one Porsche increased contribution to consolidated sales. The last reported new model follows earlier confirmation of one another, a small SUV badged Cajun.
Even now, the rumor sized sedan was “Pajunen” is mentioned in the press, and according to German publication Auto Bild, the new model will look like the four-door coupe will retain its larger stablemate.
The report adds that the engine options, the 2011 Porsche Panamera S Hybrid, including gasoline, diesel and hybrid variants mirror.
If the reports believe that Porsche will be given to replicate the success of the Cayenne and the Cajun expected to build on the Cayenne best selling item.
Within the Australian line-up Porsche, the Panamera sales pale in comparison to the companies of the worldwide bestseller, the Cayenne.
It’s a different story in the Upper Great over $ 100,000 segment, however, where the Panamera trails the best-selling Audi A8, BMW 7-Series and Jaguar XJ only a few cars a month.
Whether there is any truth in these reports remains to be seen, but possibly debut for the new model would be unlikely before 2015.
