Company insiders have told us that they are looking for as many kilometers from the C-class platform architecture, as they can get. Currently, only a sedan sold in the U.S., but Mercedes will soon launch C-class coupe and convertible, both come here.
Assuming that the C-Class four-door coupe makes the cut, it can be sold under the CLC before the Euro-only C-Class used hatch. AMG four-door version of the CLC would almost a certainty, as in Benz’s performance division managers have told us that they always want the portfolio of high-performance compact offerings.
