The fastest Maserati wheel in Australian showrooms will go on sale next month with the arrival of the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale.
The “fastest, lightest and strongest” model in the Maserati line-up is the MC Stradale by a retuned version of the same Ferrari V8 engine that the “normal” GranTurismo drives.
Now the power to an impressive 331 kW and 510 Nm of torque – up from the GranTurismo’s 324kW and 490 Nm of torque.
Thanks to this increase and reduced weight of 1670kg (110kg less than the GranTurismo S) is the first crack of the MC Stradale Maserati at 300km / h – simple. According to Maserati, the special new GT hit 301 km / h.
The 0-100km / h sprint is covered in 4.6 seconds and fuel consumption is listed at 14.4 l/100km – three hundredths of a second faster than the GranTurismo S, with a 13 percent improvement in fuel consumption.
Further performance improvements are a revised MC-Shift gearbox race that cuts shift times to 60 milliseconds.
The MC Stradale also wins a separate race mode on the automatic updates and sport mode.
The suspension is lower and there are now larger stabilizers. There are also new Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, custom-developed Pirelli tires and race-inspired carbon-fiber seats. Only in the front, mind – the rear seats were all slumped.
The Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale is on sale now with a suggested retail price of $ 364,900, with the exception of legal fees, costs and on the street vendors shipping costs.
Available in limited numbers, the first Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale for delivery will arrive in June.
