The future car from Aston Martin has been revealed, quoted from trustworth sources, this car named Aston Martin Vanquish which reportedly will be released in 2013. This car is built as the replacement for the Aston Martin DBS, which revive a badge used on the DBS’s immediate predecessor.
Regarding the platform and the model, Aston Martin Vanquish inherits its predecessor. the Vanquish will sit on the brand’s aluminum VH architecture. The car has curvy rear, the pointy strakes running through its doors. Overall, like i said above that this car inherit its predecessor, therefore whole thing looks nearly identical to the AM310 concept.
Regarding the engine, Aston Martin Vanquish will use a 6.0-liter V-12 engine, likely with more than 550 hp. It’s meant that Aston Martin Vanquish has 40 more horsepower than found in Aston Martin DBS. As far as transmissions, the auto-shifting option could change from a six-speed automatic to a seven-speed with single-clutch automated manual.
