Caught testing by our ever-clever (and highly caffeinated) spy photographers, the 3-Series GT is another arrow to the BMW vibrate Äîalthough we left wondering if AORE this new model aims to find.
While the front of this prototype is hidden under camouflage, and the back is still relatively rough, the general form of the 3-Series GT is easy to see. Even at this early stage, say, AOD, aos pretty much a top-heavy style of design than the current 5-Series GT wagon / crossover.
From these images of the 2012 GT BMW 3 Series a smoother (ie more like cars) design, especially the C-pillar has returned to the tailgate. While the larger 5-Series GT straddles the line between SUV, the smaller 3-Series is more than likely for the traditional BMW fans prefer Aod a sports car than a truck or crossover.
Set in 2012, come the next generation of the BMW 3 Series range from a new set of supercharged 4-cylinder engines with a hybrid model. Like the new BMW 5-door positions in the 3-series lineup remains to be seen. If we have seen with the 5-GT series Äôve said this new mini-niche model of interior space and comfort, with lime-like room in the back.
However, the 5-Series GT draws a maximum from your budget. Equipped with a 4.4-liter V-8 engine (the only engine available) and all-wheel-drive base versions, starting with a substantial $ 56,875. According to our sources, the 3-Series GT rear-wheel drive and available AWD format, along with a selection of 4 – and 6-cylinder engines.
The GT version of the new 3 Series will be presented this fall at the 2011 IAA in Frankfurt.
