2010 AUDI A5: Late in the ’09 model year a pair of convertibles joined the A5 coupe as Audi expands its mid-range all wheel drive sporty offerings. For 2010 improvements continue.
Powering the A5 coupe and Cabrio is a new 2 liter turbo four good for 211 horsepower and a lower price. Optional in the coupe is last year’s standard 3.2 liter 265 hp V-6. Step up to the S5 versions and choosing the coupe brings a 354 hp V-8, while going topless means a 333 hp supercharged 3 liter V-6, new for 2010, as is its 7-speed dual clutch S-Tronic transmission.
Exterior changes are minimal with LED tailights on Premimum Plus and Prestige models and new wheels for the A5 2.0T Premium version. Inside a third generation MMI is new with fast navigation, 3D map topography and SIRIUS traffic coordination. For a hotter-looking A5, add the S-line Sport Package, with unique sport seats, specially tuned suspension, 18-inch wheels and revised bumpers.
